Hoop Masters Boys Traveling Teams

10u national team 12th place national finish 2005

Hoop Masters continues to encourage young men and women to develop into the very best basketball players and people that they can possibly be. Our Travel Team approach is actually player centered, meaning that developing the individual comes first. We have a great track record in preparing players for high school basketball. We do this via our unique academy approach where we take the time to give each player the individual skills they need to become better players. We field competitive teams and participate in all of the AAU events in our area as well as the AAU National tournaments each summer.

Hoop Masters has been around since 1993. Our program has grown and matured over the years. Our combined interest in your child is the foundation for our team success. By doing so, we've built some of the best teams in Southern California. Take a look at some of our more notable accomplishments:

Before joining our Travel Team Program, you must first take our questionnaire to see if you and your son should join a Hoop Masters travel team:

1) Are you looking for your son to improve as a player and a person by receiving high level instruction and guidance?
2) Are you looking for your son to play on a team with other high level players?
3) Are you looking for your son to play against the best competition around?
4) Is AAU tournament competition, including participating in AAU Regional and National tournaments, an important goal for you and your son? (There is no right or wrong answer - "Yes", "No" or "I don't know" are all good with us!)

If you answered "Yes" for 1,2 and 3, congratulations - we are in agreement! No matter what you answered for 4, we have you covered. Please continue.

5) Do you want to drive to Orange County so you can watch your son's team play the same teams as they did in the last tournament which was in Ventura, which are the same teams they will play at the next tournament which is in Fontana?
6) Further, do you want to watch your son and his teammates play the same way against the same teams who play the same way all year?
7) Do you want your son to be replaced by a better player as soon as one is available?
8) Do you want to drive a long way to a tournament so you can watch your son play 5 minutes or less in a game?
9) Do you want your son to just play one position for every minute of every game?
10) Do you want your son to be on a team where certain players make the same mistakes over and over and over and no one seems to be able to fix the problem - short of kicking the player off the team, which no one has the guts to do?

If you answered "No" or "I don't think so" to questions 5 - 10, congratulations! You are a perfect candidate for our travel team program. Proceed to our Academy page to find out more information. Be sure to read the paragraph entitled, "But what about the travel teams?"
